Fall 2012 CSUF Commute Survey
To comply with local air quality regulations, CSUF must submit an annual trip reduction plan to the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD). The goal of the annual survey is to monitor the University's efforts to reduce the number of vehicle trips ~ a source of air pollutants ~ and improve air quality in Southern California. The annual survey is conducted to gather information about commute times and patterns for faculty, staff and student employees and is used to prepare CSUF's Employee Trip Reduction Triennial Plan.
All employees who report to work between the hours of 6-10am will be identified.
Department collectors have been appointed to distribute notifications and survey
instructions to employees who will be randomly selected. The survey will begin
Friday, November 2 until Friday, November 9. Participants will be asked
information about their commute to work for the week of October 29 – November 2.
