How To View The OPR Permit

Upon approval, a virtual permit is linked to a guest vehicle and is valid on campus on the selected dates. Please ensure guests are made aware of the valid locations of the OPR virtual permit.

Requesters may view guest permits in the OPR System by completing the following:

1. Requester logs into the  OPR Portal
2. Select “My Permit Requests” on right-hand side
3. Select "OPR Request ID #
4. Approval Results" will display as "auto-approved" or "approved"
5. Under "LPR Permit" box, Requesters will be able to see the "Permit Number" as well as the License Plate associated with the permit
6. To view Valid parking locations, scroll down to "Permit Request Information", and look for "Valid Permit Locations"

What If  A Guest Drives A Different Vehicle To Campus?

Because Parking & Transportation uses License Plate Recognition to validate parking, the vehicle linked to the virtual permit must be the same vehicle the guest utilizes to park on campus.

To update the vehicle information on file, the OPR requester or campus guest must contact the Parking Office at 657-278-3082.

Event Signage 

PTS deploys generic event parking signs. Any unauthorized  signs placed in roadways or parking lots may be removed by PTS. Collected signage may be retrieved at the PTS office, ASC - 106. 

Sign Types 

• Vehicle Directional Signage - Placed for event wayfinding
• Reserved Spaces & Lots - Placed for individual space or lot reservation
• Advanced Notice Signage - Placed for lot and roadway closures. Notifies campus community of upcoming event

Custom Signage 

• Custom signs may be ordered and purchased through  Digital Print Services 
• Custom signs should be delivered to PTS, ASC 106 at least 10 days prior to the event
• PTS staff will place all custom signage ahead of  the event

Additional Information

• Please submit Event Services Request Form as soon as possible, but no less than  14 business days prior to the event
• For check and credit card payments, please remit payment at least  3 business days prior
• Parking permits are required for all event attendees
• Event Services are unavailable during the first two (2) weeks of class instruction & commencement week
•  Space/Lot reservations are available on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability
•  Confirmation of your parking event services will be emailed to you once finalized
