  • Parking & Transportation Sevices is a Self-Supporting Entity
  • Parking And Transportation Services is unable to receive any state or university funding to help pay for operating costs or the development of parking facilities. The purchase of a parking permit enables the University to build and maintain parking facilities and cover the operating costs associated with a University parking program.

  • Citations Fund Transportation Programs
  • All parking ticket revenue must directly support alternative transportation initiatives. Any ticket issued on the CSUF campus funds programs to support student, faculty, and staff transportation such as: Subsidized OCTA Bus Pass, Shuttle Services, Zipcar, Commuter Choice Program, Pave Commute Ride-matching app, Vanpool Program.

  • Driving or Parking on Public Grounds
  • provides for the establishment and enforcement of all vehicle (including bicycle) traffic, pedestrian traffic, and parking regulations upon the grounds of the California State University and Colleges.

  • Title 5 42200  states that no person shall drive any vehicle, nor shall any person stop, park, or leave standing any vehicle upon the driveways, paths, parking facilities or grounds of any campus, except with the permission of the president of the campus.
