Parking for Visitors
Where can I park?
Depending on how long you will be visiting CSUF will determine where you can park. 30 minute parking is available in the green areas of this map. If you will be longer than 30 minutes (most transactions are) you will need to pay to park. The cost of a daily permit is $5.00, and can be purchased at any one of the permit machines on campus. Please be aware of the valid areas of the permit
How long will it take me to park and get to my destination?
Allow ample time to park at CSUF. During the busy times of the day (10-3pm) the parking lots might be very full. It is possible that you will park 5 to 10 minutes away from your campus destination.
I just have to drop off some papers. It won't be longer than 30 minutes.
Are you sure? Sometimes there are delays that will prevent you from reaching your destination and back in less than 30 minutes. It is better to buy a $5.00 permit and be safe, than to receive a $40 ticket.
