Metro/Transit Bus Pass Reimbursement Program
Parking & Transportation will reimburse CSUF Faculty, Staff, and students who have purchased a Metro bus pass until an agreement is established with Metro to honor CSUF TitanCards. Metro honors all OCTA 7-, 15- and 30-Day Passes on its three Metro routes (275, 460, and 490) that operate into Orange County or connect with OCTA buses.
- Participants who do not own a parking permit receive a 100% reimbursement up to $62.
- Participants who own a parking permit receive a 50% reimbursement up to $31.
Other Transit Systems: Participants who live outside Orange County and use Foothill Transit, Laguna Beach Municipal Transit, Long Beach Transit and Riverside transit connecting with OCTA bus routes that provide direct service to CSUF, may be reimbursed $31 to $62 (the cost of an Metro monthly pass).
- Participants who do not own a parking permit receive a 100% reimbursement up to $62.
- Participants who own a parking permit receive a 50% reimbursement up to $31.
The following requirements must be met:
- The program is only available for CSUF Faculty, Staff, or Students
- Applicants must live in LA County or city serviced by Metro or other transit systems connecting with OCTA bus routes that provide direct service to CSUF.
- Applicants must register to participate in the Metro/Transit Pass Reimbursement Program by the 15th of the month prior to the first month of reimbursement.
- Bus Pass reimbursement form and original expired bus pass must be turned in no later than the 5th working day of the following month.
- Failure to submit reimbursement form and original bus pass by the deadline will result in no reimbursement. NO EXCEPTIONS
- Eligibility for reimbursement will also be contingent upon use of OCTA buses for that month of reimbursement. U-Pass ridership logs will be used to verify transfers.
