Volunteer Parking Policy

Revised Volunteer Parking Policy

Individuals performing a service to the University who are not receiving any form of class credit or compensation may be provided a no cost, Volunteer Parking Permit.

To request a no-cost, volunteer parking permit, submit the following completed forms to the Parking & Transportation Office located in building T-1400:

  1. A completed CSU Volunteer identification document (the document is available on Informed Filler under Employment Program and in Human Resources).
  2. Written memorandum from the department chair or director requesting a no cost, parking permit for the volunteer, including the days and hours the volunteer will be on campus.

Volunteer parking permits will be issued for no more than one semester and will be restricted to student surface lots. In order to ensure that the parking permit will be available, departments will need to contact Parking & Transportation Services at least 5 days in advance of the volunteers' arrival on campus. If you have any questions, please call the parking office at (657) 278-3082.
