OCTA U-Pass

Take the bus. It’s FREE!

If you want to reduce your commuting costs, alleviate commuting stress and make productive use of your commuting time, ride an OCTA bus to campus!

U-Pass Program

The U-Pass program was designed to get you to campus and back without the hassle. It is available to all CSUF students, faculty, and staff. Just pick up a bus pass from the Parking & Transportation Office and swipe your pass through the fare box inside the bus, and your fare is automatically paid on all local routes. It’s easy. It’s convenient. And best of all, it’s FREE. CSUF parking ticket revenue funds this program.

You can also bring along your bike! Click here to view a video about how to board your bicycle on the bus.

OCTA - OC Express

Participants may also use their U-Pass to ride OC Express buses. Just swipe your pass through the fare box inside the bus, and your fare is automatically paid. The OC Express limited-stop service will get you to and from CSUF faster. Plus, every seat on the OC Express has a lap tray, power connection, reading light and comfortable high-back seating. You can use your time to catch up on reading, work on your laptop, or just lean back and enjoy the ride.

Both Route 757 from Pomona/Diamond Bar and Route 758 from Chino/Diamond stop off at Brea Mall. From Brea Mall simply take Route 57 to CSUF. For detailed information on OC Express and current bus schedules please visit www.octa.net.
