Parking Permits

Faculty/Staff Permits

  • Faculty/Staff permit types: Restricted Semester, Non-Restricted Semester, Payroll Deduction

  • When and where to purchase
    Parking permits can be purchased at Parking and Transportation (T-1400) M-F 7am - 5pm and the Visitor Information Center M-Th 5pm - 7:30pm. You must present your CSUF Titan Card or other picture identification to verify employment status via People Directory.
  • Display of permit
    Permits should hang from the rear view mirror of the vehicle, with number clearly visible. Any other display may result in a ticket. The CVC requires that the permit be removed before driving the vehicle.
  • Fees
    The cost will be prorated over the semester.
  • Expiration
    Dates that the permits are valid for are printed on the permits.
  • Parking areas where valid.

Student Semester Permits

  • Student permit types: All Day Semester
  • Parking Permits purchased over the web, or via the phone will be mailed to the address on file with the university before the first week of class. Please keep in mind that there is no grace period, and parking permits will be required on the first day of class. If you do not receive your parking permit before the first day of class, please contact Parking and Transportation at (714) 278-3082.
  • When and where to purchase
    Purchase your parking permit in conjunction with registration at www.fullerton.edu/titanonline. Choose Student Fees --> Make a Payment.
  • Display of permit

    Summer is $96
    Fall and Spring are $144 per semester

Daily Permits

  • When and where to purchase
    Daily permits are sold at permit machines in Lots A, E and G. Daily permits are valid in all student lots and parking structures. After 6:00pm your permit is valid in all Faculty/Staff lots except Lots F and H.
  • Display of permit
    The permit must be displayed on the dash with the date side up. The date and number must be visible to be valid.
  • Cost
    The cost of a daily permit is $5.00
  • Expiration
    Daily permits are valid on the day purchased for that day only.

Request Daily Permits for Visitors and Guests

  • When and where to purchase
    Use the PRO (Permit Request Online) system to request your permits. The requests should be made at least 24 hours in advance for paid permits, and 72 hours in advance for complimentary permits.
  • Cost
    The cost of a paid daily permit is $5.00

Disabled Person (DP) Permits

Students, Faculty, and Staff with disabilities who have been issued a DMV Disabled Person (DP) placard may park in any designated DP space, Faculty/Staff space or 30 Minute Visitor space and MUST display both the DMV DP placard/plates AND a valid CSUF Parking Permit when parked on campus. Temporary arrangements can be made with Disabled Student Services at (714) 278-3117.

Motorcycle Permits

  • Motorcycle permits can be purchased for $13.50 during the semester and for $9.00 during the summer.
  • Students may purchase motorcycle permits at Student Financial Services (UH-180).
  • Faculty/Staff may purchase motorcycle permits at Parking and Transportation (T-1400).

Convertible Permits

  • All vehicles parked on campus must display a valid permit. As an effort towards reducing vehicle burglaries, P & TS offers owners of convertible vehicles an alternative to displaying the hangtag permit from the rearview mirror.
  • Complimentary adhesive decals are available for Faculty/Staff and Students and must be displayed on the left side of the rear bumper.
  • Completion of permit application, and return of current permit and DMV registration are required to receive a complimentary adhesive permit.
  • Convertible permits must be renewed each semester at Parking and Transportation (T-1400).

Emeriti Permits

  • Emeriti permits are offered to those who have been granted Emeritus status by the President.
  • Permit issuance is coordinated with the President's office.
  • Valid in all faculty/staff and student surface lots.
  • They are not valid in parking structures

University Support Permits

  • Permits are available to University Support committee members.
  • Permit issuance coordinated with the President's office.
  • Valid in 30 minute zones, faculty/staff and student lots, and parking structures.

Special Permits

  • Division Head approval is required.
  • Must be displayed with a valid faculty/staff permit.
  • Valid in 30 minutes zones, special permit zones and parking structures

Conditional Use Permits

  • Division Head approval is required.
  • Must be displayed with a valid faculty/staff permit.
  • Enables the holder to park only in a specific parking area.

Volunteer Permits

  • Valid in student surface lots.

CLE (Continued Learning Experience) Permits

  • Valid in lot J and student surface lots.
  • Distributed by the CLE office.

Contractor/Vendor Permits

  • Enables Contractors/Vendors doing business on campus to park in specific areas.

CSU Reciprocity Parking Permit

  • Must be a unit 3 employee at Cal State Fullerton.
  • Must submit Other CSU Reciprocity form and must own a faculty/staff permit from another CSU.
  • Must be displayed with a valid faculty/staff permit.
  • Enables the holder to park in faculty/staff and student surface lots.
