State College Parking Structure - Opening Delayed

While the State College Parking Structure project is 6 months ahead of schedule, we will not be able to open on Monday, April 3, 2006, as anticipated due to recent inclement weather. It looks like we will take possession of the structure soon and will be able to open it for parking on April 17, 2006.

However, the following surface lots will be open April 3rd:

  1. Surface lot B, located west of the structure:
    1. CSUF Student, faculty/staff and daily parking permits are valid in this lot;
    2. Overnight parking is allowed with a valid CSUF parking permit.

  2. Surface lot R, located between the State College Structure and the Titan Student Union:
    1. Parking spaces designated for the disabled, DMV disabled person’s placard and valid CSUF permit are required
    2. Parking spaces designated “Reservation Required – Contact Parking & Transportation” – a limited number of parking spaces that can be reserved for special events, please contact the Permit Coordinator, Parking & Transportation at (657) 278-3082 for information regarding the use of these spaces.

In addition, due to the CBE construction lay down area encroachment into lot F, faculty/staff parking has been designated in the first 3 rows of lot E.
