May 2005 Parking Update
Lots B & K, located on the north side of the Titan Student Union, have been closed for the construction of the State College Parking Structure. Currently, the contractor is preparing the site. Construction activity will increase in the summer when the contractor begins to build the structure foundation.
The Nutwood Parking Structure, located at Nutwood Avenue and State College Boulevard, in combination the number of parking spaces in surface lots eliminates the need for extraordinary parking options such as stack-parking and off-campus leased lots to accommodate overall parking demand this semester. According to parking lot space counts conducted during class hours, between 600 and 1,000 parking spaces are available in lots A and G, located by Yorba Linda Boulevard.
Space counts also indicate there is sufficient faculty and staff parking spaces in lot C, located at Nutwood Avenue and State College Boulevard, in faculty/staff lot A-South, located at State College and Corporation Drive and in the College Park faculty/staff parking area. The College Park faculty/staff lot has had the most available spaces this semester and is a convenient parking option for employees working at the southern end of campus. Also, remember that faculty/staff permits are valid in student surface parking lots. For the location of student and faculty/staff parking areas, please refer to the updated campus parking map at www.parking.fullerton.edu/parking/PrintableCampusMap.pdf
